Aside from full shade, this incredibly versatile sedge prospers in a wide range of growing conditions. It forms a small-statured mound with oval-shaped, golden-brown seedheads.

Grows 1-2' tall and wide.
 
Grows in full or part sun. Avoid full shade.
 
Prefers medium-wet to dry soils, including sandy and clay. Tolerates occasional flooding.
