This is a non-native, edible offering.

This heirloom red raspberry is one of the most recommended varieties for the Midwest and northern states. It yields mid-season crops of large, pointed berries bursting with juicy, bold flavor. For optimal fruiting, site plants in full sun and fertile, well-drained, moist soil. Fertilize in spring and provide a few inches of mulch to retain moisture. Provide water during fruit production and extended drought. The plants produce fruit on canes that have overwintered. After harvest is over, cut out the old canes at ground level and allow the remaining canes to stand over winter. They may be tip-pruned in late winter for a more compact plant.
