Found primarily in the Appalachian Mountains (and in a few Ohio counties), white bee balm is well-suited for woodland edges; native or pollinator gardens; and moist, naturalized areas where it can freely spread and bloom from late spring into fall.

 

Plant Characteristics:

Grows 3-6' tall and 2-3' wide.

 

Grows in full or part sun.

 

Prefers medium-moist to moist soils, including sandy, loamy, and clay.

 

Blooms May-September.
