Lavender to red-purple blooms in mid to late fall.


Wildlife Value: A host plant for the eastern tailed blue and marine blue butterflies. Flowers primarily attract bumblebees and other long-tongued bees that feed on the nectar. Other insects feed on the foliage, flowers or plant juices.
